New Location – Orange City, FL

924S944.com is now an LLC – and has a new location in Orange City, FL, near I-4 between Daytona Beach and Orlando.  The address is 1070 Shadick Drive, Unit G, Orange City, FL. 32763.

Here is the location:

We will be using the facility for both storage and work.  As a starting point for a new business, we will be doing restoration work on our “passion fruit,” 924S and 944 cars.  We will also be storing various parts for these cars and offering parts for sale.

At this point, we will not be doing any repair or restoration work for customers – only our own cars.  We have an original-level restoration of a 924S M030 in progress, as well as a driver-level resurrection of another 924S M030.  Additionally, our 924S D-Production conversion is on the back burner, but in the process and on the list.

The restoration of the M030 will include new grey-striped upholstery cloth from Germany, a NEW factory dashboard, NEW M030 door panels – and making it a very close-to-original example.  Our hope is to have it on display at the 2019 Porsche Parade in Boca Raton.

IMG_1157We are currently running SCCA with an ITS 924S – one of the ugliest cars on track.  But we are working hard to make it run with the best in both SCCA and PCA SP1/944 Cup.  More to come.

With that race car, we also have an early 924 – 1982 with the 2L NA engine – for SCCA ITB.  More as we get it up and running for the track.

So, while more information is coming, know that 924S944.com is alive and well, and growing.  Look for more soon.
