From time to time, 924S944.com rescues and sells a few cars. Listed here are cars that are either for sale or coming up for sale soon.
924S944 does not do complete concours restorations. Instead, we refurbish cars to be great driver’s cars with all or most of the factory systems working as they should. Since we are in Central Florida, we concentrate on air conditioning! Sunroofs work, hatches work, no leaks, no electrical gremlins – just like you would make it for yourself. We also have parts that come from the parts cars that we have. Some are listed here but if you don’t see what you need, let us know by email here.
1988 Porsche 924S Special Edition “Moe” – SOLD!
Original condition SE with less than 30,000 miles $22,800
This mostly original 924S Special Edition is our own “Moe” that has graced Porsche Club events, the Werks Reunion at Amelia Island, as well as local Cars and Coffee events. We got Moe a few years ago and put 5,000 miles on him. He has new Koni adjustable shocks, rebuilt cylinder head and belt service (don’t ask!) and is ready to show and go.
Moe is being offered here but will go on a national auction site soon.
1984 Porsche 944 AUTOMATIC – SOLD
Guards Red with black and linen interior
This 944 was obtained from the original owner who took delivery in Germany – “Tourist Delivery” – from Orlando. We went through it, taking care of all of the deferred maintenance including new tires, fluid changes with filters, tuneup and making sure that everything worked as designed. This is a great original 944 automatic that has been loved and cared for its whole life.
1986 Porsche 944 AUTOMATIC
Black with linen interior $9,800
This car is a “light rescue” on a generally good car. We did all required service, fixed a broken flex plate, installed a new AC Compressor and alternator, along with new tires, new front and rear seat upholstery, and made sure everything worked properly.
1987 Porsche 924S 5-Speed – SOLD
60,000 miles, Black with black interior, rebuilt engine, one owner $9,800
This is a great car with low miles but unfortunately the previous owner ran it out of oil. We are building a replacement engine, and we are doing all of the required service, including fluids and filters. It will have new front control arms and bushings, new ball joints and new shocks and struts. Everything will work as designed.
