Welcome to the New Site for 924S944.com

Greetings to all!

We have a new site design in WordPress that allows us to write and archive information and articles about our beloved 924, 924S and 944 Porsches.  While this site has been around for a while, it has pretty much laid dormant for the last several years – the last update on the website was 2009!  So with the new format, we hope to re-engage with the Porsche FEWP (Front Engine Water Pumper) community, and yes – that means 968 and 928 folks too!

blogWith this format you can search and locate articles like how-to’s, racing information, tips and tricks, and other topics regarding our cars.  Here at 924S944.com, we have several projects that are ongoing, and we will update you on their progress as we go.  Here is a taste of the projects on tap:

  • 1982 924 Race Car for SCCA ITB
  • 1989 944 Turbo S V8 conversion that is going from an LT1 to an LS6 at over 400 HP!
  • 1988 924S M030 LeMans/Special Edition restorationIMG_0490
  • 1988 924S M030 resurrection into a street-legal D-Production replica complete with upgraded Vintage Air unit, Dakota Digital gauge set and Apple Carplay.

As if that isn’t enough for us to do, we will also be cataloging the parts that we have and creating a listing here of parts for sale and trade.  We have a lot of parts, but as is the case with most of us, we don’t know what we have.  So, this is where we will put it all – in case you are looking for something.

We want to become the place that you go can go to get whatever you need for you FEWP Porsche.  We are not a parts vendor, but we will point you in the right direction for parts with our Parts Vendor Links page.  We will also point you in the right direction for information online, such as Clark’s Garage.   And if you have something that we don’t seem to know about, let us know and we will post it.

So let’s get started!
