PCA Zonefest, May 24-26, Mt. Dora

Calling all 924, 924S, 944 and 968’s for ZoneFest 2019, sponsored by the Florida Citrus Region Porsche Club of America!  There are only about twenty slots left, so you need to get registered and make your reservations for this great event!

So what it is?

AX headon picZoneFest is a weekend event that provides a combination of different “things to do” with your Porsche over a weekend.  It is open to everyone with a Porsche – you do not have to be a PCA member to attend.  For this ZoneFest weekend, we will have a reception at the Lakeside Inn in Mt. Dora on Friday night.  Saturday brings a “People’s Choice Concours” at the Howey Mansion in Howey-In-The-Hills where attendees vote for their favorite car in each class while touring the restored mansion; then a guided drive through some of the best roads in Central Florida; then a “Free Keg on the Porch” in the late afternoon at the Lakeside Inn. Then on Sunday compete in a Florida Citrus Region Autocross.  A banquet on Sunday evening the Lakeside provides a chance to wrap it all up and award the prizes from the weekend.

The Florida Citrus Region has held this event at the Lakeside many times.  It is popular, so there are a limited number of spots available, and it is about to fill up in the next week or so.  At this point, there is one 924S and one 944 entered – we need more representation!

To register, go to https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/9648.  If you have never used ClubRegistration before, you will need to create an account.  Register soon and don’t be left out!
