Memorial Day Drive and Dine

As a former US Army (Reserve) soldier in the Military Police (345th MP Company,) Memorial Day and Veterans Day mean a lot to me.  So this Memorial Day weekend, the Florida Citrus Region of the Porsche Club of America will celebrate Memorial Day with a commemorative drive on Saturday, May 27th, ending at Henry’s Depot in Sanford for lunch. Join us as we honor those who sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today in our country. Register at https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/13502.  You do not have to be a member of PCA to participate in this event!
The drive will begin at Magnolia Park, 2929 S Binion Dr, Apopka at 9:30 am. After a brief drivers meeting we will leave in groups of 10 cars for a two-hour excursion through Orange. Lake, Volusia, and Lake counties ending in Sanford at Henry’s Depot Food Hall, 212 W. 1st St. Sanford Fl.
You are encouraged to decorate your car and your person in the American flag or other patriotic attire in celebration of Memorial Day. The club will make a donation to Honor Flights in recognition of the day. You are welcome to make a contribution by check as well when you check in at Magnolia Park on Saturday morning, May 27th.
So let’s get our cars out for this FREE Drive and Dine event to celebrate Memorial Day and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.  And think about a donation to Honor Flights, a charity that we at Florida Citrus Region PCA support – take a look at who they are and what they do!
