This announcement is from the Citrus Region (Orlando) Porsche Club of America! The first autocross of the 2019 German Excellence/FLC Autocross Series will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Tavares. Registration is now open at www.clubregistration.net, and is $40, payable at the event (only), including lunch. If you preregister, you will receive a $10 discount.

The event is held at the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Driver Training Facility, which includes a HUGE driving pad that is flat, open and offers a variety of tracks. Events are hosted with the assistance of the Martin Sports Car Club – and these guys have been doing autocross events for decades.

The event will be held at the Lake County Sheriff’s Training Facility at 13000 Frankies Rd., Tavares. We will run an exciting course on the big lot. Gates open at 7:00 and on site registration closes at 8:30. On line registration closes at 11:59 PM on 9/21. Please preregister, we need the time to process the registration data. Course map and confirmations will be sent a few days before the event.
If you are an experienced autocrosser, you know the Florida Citrus Region series offers friendly competition and great camaraderie. If you have not done an autocross, please join us. We offer a fun, safe environment in which you can drive your Porsche the way the engineers designed it. We welcome novices, women, and young drivers (over 16 with a valid license). Instructors and loaner helmets are available.
