924S944 does not do complete concours restorations. Instead, we refurbish cars to be great driver’s cars with all or most of the factory systems working as they should. Since we are in Central Florida, we concentrate on air conditioning! Sunroofs work, hatches work, no leaks, no electrical gremlins – just like you would make it for yourself. Turn the clock back 20 years prior to the production of this 944 to the 1967 911 and recall that the initial 911R was not built for homologation for a specific race series but rather as a lightweight prototype. The focus of that initial 911R construction was a focus on weight reduction at all costs with no specific class, outcome, or sales goal in mind. This is how this he reimagined and crafted this 1987 944 over the years. I have kept the 944R theme moving forward and have taken further weight savings measures beyond those of the second owner.
